Jonathan Light, Paratek’s Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer has been with the company since August 2017.
Mr. Light has over 20 years of corporate, legal, regulatory and compliance experience. He has counseled pharmaceutical companies on development, commercialization and life-cycle management matters across numerous therapeutic areas. Mr. Light is a business-minded executive who has a proven track record of building and leading teams of lawyers and compliance professionals who provide pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance in support of corporate strategy. He has extensive experience in FDA and regulatory matters and has built and implemented the company’s healthcare compliance program. Mr. Light is also experienced in providing guidance related to complex commercial disputes, market access agreements, financing transactions, corporate governance, business development, complex commercial agreements, and labor and employment issues.
Prior to joining Paratek, Mr. Light was an Executive Counsel at Teva Pharmaceuticals where he was the lead attorney for the company’s brand oncology, respiratory and biologics business units which generated over $1B in annual revenue. He previously counseled the GI business unit at Shire Pharmaceuticals and was a trusted outside counsel for several leading healthcare companies as a litigator at Morgan Lewis.
Education & Accomplishments
Mr. Light received his J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law, his B.A. from Dartmouth College and has Bar Admissions in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
